About ‘Tis
Featuring two galleries of contemporary art inside the beautifully restored 1893 ‘Tis Building
Unlike conventional art galleries, the non-profit ‘Tis galleries feature affordable fine art paintings, photography, and sculpture, all displayed in museum-style fashion. A charming parlor area with a historical settee awaits visitors near the rear of the main floor gallery. Within it, you will find some of the state’s most unique and locally handcrafted jewelry and wearable art.
The Tis Foundation and Gallery were established to promote Local Artists, encourage Artists and various styles of art, teach art, and make art economically available to the Prescott Community.

STEPS Kids Art Show Exhibit
JUne 24-july 14, 2025
The Tis STEPS program in Prescott, AZ, offers free seasonal art workshops that uplift and inspire our community’s youth. Through collaboration with the Prescott Lakes Parkway School, Tis STEPS also supports students at the Yavapai County Juvenile Detention Center by directly bringing creative, educational, and positive enrichment into the school setting.
When you purchase a student’s artwork, you’re doing more than decorating your home—you're making a difference. Your gift directly enables ongoing access to seasonal programs and crucial support for detained youth, helping them stay engaged in learning and reach their potential.
