Viktor Lowenfeld’s book Creative and Mental Growth (1947) explained how art experience intertwines a child’s creative and mental growth. That art allows them to understand their world and, most importantly, their ability to understand themselves.
Today, the truth of these words still stands, while the American education system continues to ignore the importance of art education in our children’s lives. For this reason, ‘Tis has been continually providing Prescott area children with free art education programs since 2011.

Our instructors come from varied backgrounds and expertise, allowing the program to grow and thrive.
Classes run seasonally from April to September and meet on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for two consecutive weeks, followed by a third Monday wrap-up gallery exhibit for parents & family. Class times vary depending on the season.
